Internet based training, aka e-learning as the name suggests is a system which engulfs in itself use of varied form of electronic media to gain or impart education, knowledge which effectively describes distance learning via remote resources.

E-Learning makes a useful medium for making lessons more interesting and interactive, using online learning platforms like Game Classroom or Quizinator to transform traditional classroom learning. Enabling the learners to stay in constant contact with the educators, the e-learning platform provides various software programs like black board system to students to ease the way of grabbing concepts The inclination of masses towards the use of internet or any electronic media for carrying out most of the activities including learning paves the paths for innovating ways to better the same.

Thus, this paper discusses the prevailing e-learning system in the world and the future prospects of the same, with suggestions to equip an e-learning site with maximum features available for the learners with the help of varied tools.
