Abstract: 

Entrepreneurship refers to the act of setting up a new business or reviving an existing business so as to take advantages from new opportunities. Thus, entrepreneurs shape the economy by creating new wealth and new jobs and by inventing new products and services. However studies reveal that entrepreneurship is not about making money, having the greatest ideas, knowing the best sales pitch, applying the best marketing strategy. It is in reality an attitude to create something new and an activity which creates value. Thus Entrepreneurship is the state of mind. Women are always considered to have a very strong mental state and are survivors. For very long they have survived in the entrepreneurial world against all odds. In order for them to be successful in business earlier they had to struggle a lot in a space that was crowded by men. Overtime things and attitudes have changed. Propose of this empirical study is intended to find out changes that have occurred in the sphere of women entrepreneurship. It will also highlight the changes and how it has affected women as entrepreneurs.
