For every civil engineering projects, soil becomes foremost material to deal with. An engineer always ascertains the strength of soil for further analyzing & designing the structure. In many cases, we come across poor strength of soil and thus, soil improvement necessitates. Soil improvement is costly affairs, however, many researchers have studied different techniques of soil strength improvement. In this review paper, we have tried to bring out such work of soil improvement through different techniques.
