Abstract:

E-governance offers a new way to improve government exchange process, help to connect with citizens, and to build interactions with and within the civil society. The main objective of the study was to find the relevant e- government services and to study the association between demographics and the perception towards the most important factors governing e- governance services. The data was gathered through a well-structured questionnaire and non-parametric test was used to test the significance of the results. Exploratory factor analysis was used to extract the factors identifying the awareness towards e- governance. The results showed that different variables like as awareness about E-governance, important factors exhibiting the presence of e-governance, infrastructure related services and citizen expectations from Government services affect the use of government services.
