Abstract: 

In this study performance of amorphous (a-si) and polycrystalline (p-si) PV module were compared for the subtropical climatic conditions of Bhopal. The experiment was carried out for outdoor operating conditions in energy centre MANIT Bhopal, India with using solar module analyzer. Current-voltage (I-V) and power-voltage (P-V) characteristics were plotted for each module and performance results of both PV modules were evaluated.
