Abstract: 

Environmental pollution is prevented with renewable energy and energy production from local resources is encouraged. An advantage of solar power pump is that system needs no maintenance. The use of this solar pump system will be able to contribute to the socioeconomic development. The output of a solar pumping system is very dependent on good system design derived from accurate site and demand data. For discharge of 20000liters per day for Jalgaon location, the size of solar panel required is 240w x 2No. and model of pump required is PH 600- HR -14.
