Abstract:

This paper deals with the utilization of dynamic voltage restorer for the fault ride through of the doubly fed induction generation system. The increased use of power electronic devices hasraised the problem of power quality issues, resulting into the problem of voltage sag/swell etc. The system that is to be designed will face the problems of voltage sag/swell & will keep the system healthy throughout the abnormal condition. This will also avoid the nuisance tripping of highly sensitive relays & will also maintain its synchronism. The use of doubly fed induction generation system is done to maintain the constant voltage to frequency output in low wind speeds also.
