Abstract: 

Stress is a form of tension in the body or mind, for which there is no release or outlet. When one is under stress, one is like a car in the neutral gear with the accelerator on, trying to exert internally. This paper presents the results of a study investigating stress among employees from organization in the Jalgaon district of North Maharashtra region. A specific measure of stress was developed following in interviews with employees. It was seen that 80% of employees were suffering from stress about their job. The researcher than gathered together the stressed employees and discuss with them on stress management. Researcher asked to introduce a few stress management programs. It has been observed that total level of stress of the employees have come down by almost 30%. Before the program it was 80% and after the stress management programs it become 50%.
