Abstract: 

Today the outlooks of automobile companies have changed. Due to change in needs, likes and expectations of customers, it’s very troublesome for companies that how to delight the customers. Since 2009 the same problems have witnessed by Indian automobile industry. The current study focuses on vital factors associated buyer behavior & satisfaction. The objective of this research paper is to understand the preferences and outlook of Maruti & Hyundai customers in Marathwada region regarding after sales service, resale value and fuel efficiency along with customer preferences while buying Maruti & Hyundai brands.

In current study convenient sampling technique has been adopted for selecting the consumers. The study reveals that the buyer’s preferred Maruti cars on vital parameters like fuel efficiency, after sales service, resale value,  availability of spare parts whereas in view of Hyundai customers they preferred vehicles on parameters like comfort & convenience, exterior, technology etc. The study reveals that prompt after sales service plays vital role in  satisfying & delighting the customers.
