This paper focuses problems in routing QoS traffic in mobile network that is stability & recoverability. The new algorithm modifies a cluster based QoS routing algorithm EFDCB (Extended Fully Distributed Cluster-Based) for MANETs with the aim of providing fault tolerance [2]. Performance of this new algorithm is calculated according to various parameters as throughput, energy, and packet delivered ratio via simulation involving node failure scenarios along with QoS paths [1].
MANET is an infrastructure-less network of mobile devices connected by Wireless media. This paper addresses QoS in MANET. QoS is the level of performance in a communications network required by the type of network traffic. QoS requirement for effective MANET includes fault tolerance & fast recovery when links fail on an intermittent or permanent basis.
