India has witnessed a drastic change in the electronics communication and digitalization in the recent years and in this process there have been a large number of attempts to position trust from the perspective of our digital life. The mainstream of this research has basically consigned the concept of trust to one of security and safety in interaction with digital environment around us. Building trustworthy interactions with computers has become a job for engineers, programmers and security professionals. This paper seeks to reposition the place of trust from the technical systems perspective to a phenomenological perspective and pointing to the sociality and the aesthetics of the interface as significant conditions for the building of trustworthy digital environment around us.
