The endeavour of the organisations in India today is to “Do more with less”. This statement is a challenge in itself when it comes to IT domain. Cloud computing with its features and characteristics promises to meet this challenge. The Indian market of Cloud is gaining pace. The Indian market has now begun to be crowded with the cloud offerings. It is now being felt that a classification criterion of the CSP is the need of the hour for Cloud users. This paper provides a list of classification criteria and framework to evaluate CSP.
