Abstract:

Approaches and deployment strategy to implement cloud computing vary depending upon a consumer’s requirement. Considering Software-as-a-Service, a forensic investigator has  very restricted areas to collect evidences in the event of a cloud crime. Cloud Forensics, coined by Dr.KeyunRuan defines its aim as to minimize the severity of cloud crime on the cloud, afterdata has been collected, preserved, analysed, interpreted and presented. An attempt has been made to enhance the loopholes with existing frameworks of data recovery with the application of Predictive Analysis and Cloud Forensics. The proposed framework primarily focuses on areas of vulnerability scanning for system learning and proactive data collection. The framework may serve as “Forensics as a service” which may deployable at the consumer’s end. This paper contributes by assessing internal investigation in SaaS cloud  environment. In the proposed framework cloud consumer internally investigates the SaaS cloud environment thereby giving refined artefacts to cloud service provider or L.E.A or C.S.I.R.T. etc. in order to lessen the technical liabilities at latter’s end.
