There are many important areas for consumers in cloud computing but here we are talking about the Availability and Performance in cloud computing. Availability refers to the data availability, service availability, network availability, hardware and software availability. Traditionally the availability is limited to local installation of hardware and software resources. With the advent of cloud services there is a considerable shift of these resources into the cloud. Cloud computing provides the cost benefits to the business and consumers. The important thing for the cloud service providers is to offer the environment that is high in availability. This paper discusses the state of availability in cloud.
