Abstract:

Hidden Camera Detection technique is one of the unique method by which we can detect hidden camera/lens which hamper people’s privacy by implementing the software using micro- controller and then communicating using a Driver. In general circumstances, security features of an android-enabled smartphone provide for detection of Bluetooth based tethering devices in the vicinity due to radio waves being used within a perimeter of the device. However, this technique could also be implemented to extend a security technique enabling mechanism for providing the user a peek into the hidden camera devices lurking in the vicinity for personal security and privacy protection. This would also be useful in scenarios where hidden devices may have been unused for a long time and their detection becomes tedious in the absence of the installation mechanism. Such techniques provide for ensuring security and using micro-controllers embedded with Java codes for communicating using a driver.
