Abstract:

The battery lifetime of nodes in wireless sensor networks have limited, the focus must always be given to conserving their energy so that they can work for the longer duration of time. While some of the attacks such as hello flood attack focus on consuming up the resources of the network like battery power of the nodes etc. This attack is performed by malicious node by flooding the hello request to the legitimate node continuously to break the security. A Wireless Sensor Network is a heterogeneous system consists of hundreds or thousands  lowcost and low-power tiny sensors to monitoring and gathering information from deployment environment in real-time. Moreover, the wireless networks are sensitive to the certain order
of network attacks.
