The darknet phenomenon widely used nowadays by providing anonymous infrastructure to the user for maintaining their anonymity on the cyber world. As in the darknet the user uses the unused IP address space which is not have been sourced to the legitimate hosts. Obviously the internet is recent trend for the entire event in the network some malicious things are  also being generated by that to infect the network.so more security required to the network for better performance. As cyber-attacks are defecting the network unknowingly the anonymous network or hidden network is a better solution to prevent the network from that. The darknet is widely used to observe the threat activities which are harmful to network like denial of  service, warms, malwares and misconfigured network traffic. So this paper introduces survey on methods to monitor the network with darknet through which the network will be monitor passively and anonymously and also prevent from the cyber-attack.
