Speedy advancements in information and communication technology have shaped a suitable channel to large resources of information for people. The contribution of this research  paper is an overview on cybercrime and the ethical issues related to this field in Indian perspectives. India with a population of 1.25 billion, have 0.35 billion (which means 28% of total population) internet users. This is 10.83% of total internet users of the world. Cyber Crime is criminal activity done using computers and the Internet. This includes anything from downloading illegal music files to stealing millions of dollars from online bank accounts. Even though India has solid policies against Cyber Crimes, the main challenge it faces is that general awareness is non-existent. Different terms related to Cyber Crimes like E-Mail Spoofing, Phishing, Spamming etc. have been discussed for the awareness of the common people.
